On September 21 and 22, 2025, Terre Bentivoglio will once again star in the fifth annual “Oltrepò: Land of Pinot Noir.” In the evocative setting of Borgo di Golferenzo, widely considered one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, a prized representative of the winery finds its true expression: Pinot Noir Pas Dosé Metodo Classico.
Amidst history and culture, surrounded by ancient stones and breathtaking views, Terre Bentivoglio’s Pinot Noir Pas Dosé Metodo Classico fuses with the land that saw it born and grow. This year, the Consorzio Classese Oltrepò Pavese event takes on an even deeper meaning: the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the birth of the Metodo Classico in this area, a milestone that harkens back to 1865, when the very first sparkling wines in Italian winemaking history were born in Rocca de’ Giorgi. Today’s work continues that pioneering tradition, with the same passion and courage.
