At Terre Bentivoglio, every wine enfolds a love between man and earth, an emotion so authentic that it has won recognition far beyond Oltrepò Pavese, where it boasts its roots. Fully two awards, in fact, were bestowed upon our Pinot Noirs, one of importance in Italy, the other from far-away Japan.
The innate passion within the very DNA of our family, in our vineyards and winemaking, is the magnet that attracted new and prestigious awards to Terre Bentivoglio. Our Pinot Nero Extra Dry dell’Oltrepò Pavese and our Cuvée di Pinot 98 Extra Dry both won Gold Medals at Japan’s Sakura Awards, the influential wine competition that pays homage to wines of exceptional quality and elegance from across the globe. Our Pinot Nero DOCG Pas Dosé Metodo Classico 2018 posted no less an achievement, winning first place as a Sparkling Star from Vini Buoni d’Italia. Its tasting jury, composed of wine industry professionals, in-shop owners, and winelovers, made the award at Vinitaly 2024, in collaboration with Verallia.
These tributes are, of course, a further guarantee of quality for those who select our wines to grace their meals, but they are a satisfying confirmation as well of our commitment to convey to the highest degree possible the authentic soul of this corner of earth in which we are so proudly rooted, producing wines eloquently conveying such a genuine love story.
